干硅涂布量是指，离型剂涂布在材料上的量，单位是克每平方米。一般为溶剂型硅油的涂布量从0.30~0.80克每平方米，无溶剂型硅油的涂布量从0.80~1.30克每平方米。需要专业测试设备才能测试涂布量。 硅油涂布量直接影响到剥离性能。较高的涂布量，能够密实地将原纸覆盖，保证硅油均匀分布。而较低的硅油涂布量，则容易出现漏涂等现象，致使剥离不良。有些离型涂布供应商以降低硅油涂布量，致使剥离偏重，生产出重离型纸，在使用时是具有相当风险的。 可靠的生产厂家是在不降低硅油涂布量的前提下，通过化学配方的调整实现剥离力的调整。这是需要相当长时间的技术积累的，而非一蹴而就的。
